Haley May is the best! I’ve seen her twice now, the first time for a full highlight and tone and just today for partial highlight, tone, and cut.
I have relatively long hair, and Haley May was super informative and kind explaining our plan for my hair goals. She also suggested products, but it never felt like she was just trying to upsell me, it felt like she was genuinely trying to help me stay in line with my hair goals.
Everyone in the salon is very sweet, and it’s a very welcoming environment. I especially enjoy the ICE OUT, BLM, and Progress Pride Flag displayed prominently in the window.
I also got to meet Fife today, who was a very friendly boy happy to greet me and other customers! 5 stars for Haley May and Mr. Fife 😍🩵

I got a curly cut from Hayley last week and I am getting so many compliments on it! The environment was so nice and I was offered a beverage and everyone was very kind. The salon itself is gorg and clean, and they offer referral discounts… and I’d say already fairly priced before anything like that too! I love how fresh and healthy my hair looks and can’t wait to see how these layers grow out healthier now. I feel chic thanks to Hayley and I really would recommend The Wayward Hairdresser all around!

This was honestly the best haircut I've ever had. Well worth the price. Samantha was so supportive and patient in helping me figure out what I wanted. I was nervous moving here to LA and leaving my favorite hairdresser behind but I'm grateful that I found a new favorite :-) I could not recommend this place more.

My experience at The Wayward was nothing short of wonderful, and it was entirely due to my stylist, Rachel Duze. The environment within the salon and the staff themselves were warm and welcoming. Rachel was very professional, funny, and kind. I felt comfortable asking questions, expressing what I did/didn't want, and Rachel was accommodating every step of the way. Even if I said something was okay (length, color, etc.), Rachel thoroughly explained and confirmed I understood what was happening with my hair before it happened and while it was happening. I absolutely love the finished product and appreciate Rachel for breathing some life back into my hair.
I included some pictures below, I had red wine blended highlights done as well as a fresh butterfly cut.

I always have an amazing experience at Wayward. I usually see Haley, who never disappoints. But on occasions when she wasn’t available someone else was always able to fit me in and make sure I had the service I needed when I need it. I always trust that no matter whose chair I’m in, I’m walking out looking amazing. The whole staff is friendly and creates such a nice environment. They also have an amazing selection of products to choose from whatever my needs. Could not recommend them enough!
