I saw Laura for a corrective color job. She did a fantastic job turning my over-processed, platinum blonde hair into a rich, vibrant red! We kept come chunky blonde peakaboo color for fun. I’m very happy with the results! And the conditioning treatment left my hair feeling healthier and shiny. I highly recommend Laura for all your hair coloring needs!

This is a very long overdue review but necessary. I had the absolute best experience at the salon 718 Myrtle location with color correction specialist Corinne. I highly highly highly recommend her for color correction as she definitely proved herself as an expert in this field. Backstory: I had gotten my hair colored at a different salon not associated with salon 718 a few days prior. I wanted balayage that wasn’t too blonde or yellow. I love the natural look of balayage that blends effortlessly with my roots since I typically only get my hair colored once a year (I know I know I let it grow out way too long before my next appointment). I actually used to get my balayage done at salon 718. I always went to whoever had availability and never had a bad experience at salon 718. I went to a different salon this most recent time for balayage only because I moved and the commute to salon 718 is now very far. The balayage from the new salon was not at all what I expected/wanted. You could still tell where my old balayage ended and new began, the top looked more yellow with the bottom more orange, the new balayage area looked unnatural, stripes of yellow, the bottom looked all one color. When I put my hair in a bun you could really tell the color difference of my roots and my ends. I immediately knew I wanted it fixed but didn’t want to damage my hair since it was just freshly bleached and colored. After 2 days of looking in the mirror at my new hair and feeling very much not like myself with the results, I called salon 718 in hopes it could be fixed asap before I had to go back to work in a couple of days. I also was traveling to Spain for one of my best friends weddings the following week that I was suddenly feeling self conscious to go to with my hair not looking right, as silly as that might sound. I explained the situation over the phone and they were able to match me with Corinne, a color specialist, the next day. When I met Corinne and her team members at the Myrtle location I felt immediately welcomed. Corinne took her time evaluating my hair making a plan that would give me the results I wanted while also preventing further damage to my hair since it was so freshly bleached and colored. You can tell Corinne has a strong passion for color correction and is very knowledgeable on the subject. I could tell just from her initial evaluation of my hair and the attention to detail that she treats every individual case uniquely and does not use a one size fits all approach. Every step of the color correction process was well thought out and explained to me. The results were incredible. Even with all the explanation I’m still not sure how she was able to go from what I walked into the salon with to such a well blended, beautiful result. The color outcome was gorgeous. I got my confidence back immediately. I cannot say more great things about the color correction magic this woman is able to do. I will definitely be making the commute and returning to Corinne at salon 718 for all my hair color needs moving forward. It’s amazing how the right hair color can make such a difference in your confidence. Thank you so much Corinne and the salon 718 team. I truly felt beautiful in Spain with my new hair. I love coming here! The energy at the salon is infectious, everyone is so sweet and kind. It’s a very warm experience. My stylist Laura is a gem, absolutely recommend her. I have so much fun seeing her and her magic with scissors has to be seen to be believed. The blowout is never an afterthought, she really puts in so much effort so you leave feeling amazing. I love how we’ve transformed my hair as we’ve worked together.

Laura killed it! Came in with super fried and dead ends, and wanted to switch from getting partial balayage from another stylist to getting a full head of highlights. She blended my existing color with the highlights perfectly! I’d been trying cuts and color from different salons in the city and never really been happy with the end product until now. She even suggested I go a shade cooler than what I was imagining and she was right- it looks better than my idea. Obsessed!

Laura has been doing my hair for a little over a year and I’m so happy with it! The blunt bob is always very precise, and the color is to die for! I do a half head of highlights. Good blond hair care is hard to come by and she’s got so many years of experience and it shows. If ya wanna chat, she can chat, and if you wanna close your eyes and chill that’s also available. Couldn’t recommend her more!
