I’ve been to a lot of barbershops, but this place is on a completely different level. From the moment you walk in, it feels less like a quick haircut and more like an experience. The vibe is laid-back but stylish, and the attention to detail Is amazing. The cold beer is a fantastic touch. I’m new to New York, but have lived in many cities before. So finding a barbershop where it’s got class, friendliness, and doesn’t break your budget is one of the best things you can find. I recommend this place to all

Been going to the Smith Street shop for the past year and really dig the people there. Everyone is kind and professional and damn good at their profession. Was in the Slope and needed my haircut before the holidays so I tried the one on 5th Ave. Omar did an amazing job and was kind, courteous, and super attentive the whole way through. Everyone there was great and I couldn’t be happier w my cut. I will definitely continue to be a patron of George’s and encourage everyone looking for a great barbershop experience to give them a try!

What a spot!!! Got in right before closing, they were extremely hospitable and inviting even though i was at the buzzer. Rudie gave me an unreal cut, I had extremely long hair and he took his time scissor cut the whole thing and gave me life again. Can’t thank them enough, highly recommend this spot for your next cut.

So this was my first time going to a non black barber, I was suspicious as to weather they would trim me up good. I walked in and it was a very welcoming energy, bright and inviting. They boffer complimentary coffee, seltzer, beer, and whiskey. I got trimmed up by Franky at station five and he was great I loved it and I’m switching barbers. Got a great fade in under an hour, feel great and it only cost me $35…. Remember to tip your barber.
